Livestock and Farm Property Transit
The WFI Livestock & Farm Property Transit policy insures you against the accidental death of your livestock and physical loss or physical damage to your farm property which occurs during transit.
The policy insures you against*:
- Accidental death of your livestock (including slaughter for humane reasons)
- Physical loss or physical damage to your farm property
Additional Benefits
- WFI will pay* the fees and costs reasonably incurred by you:
- In restoring your insured livestock to health
- For destroying your insured livestock for humane reasons
- For the removal and disposal of the carcasses of your insured livestock
- For mustering your insured livestock that may have wandered off following an accident or breakdown of the vehicle in which the livestock were being transported
- In unloading the vehicle transporting your insured livestock or farm property and loading them onto, and use of a replacement vehicle to enable you to continue the transport of your insured livestock or farm property to the intended destination or return them to their original point of despatch following an accident to or breakdown of the vehicle in or on which your insured livestock or farm property were being transported.
