WFI Feedlot Cattle policy is designed specifically for feedlot owners and individual cattle producers. It is a simple to understand mortality policy that offers protection to cattle producers, and a wide range of benefits which cover all categories of Feedlot Cattle including: domestic, export, medium and long fed cattle.
WFI Feedlot Cattle policy insures you against death (including the slaughter for humane reasons) of cattle caused by an occurrence.
This policy covers you if the occurrence and the death of the animal happens at the farm premises and during that part of feedlot duration program for the particular cattle insured.
Additional Benefit
WFI will pay* the fees and costs reasonably incurred by you:
- With the intention of restoring your insured cattle to health
- For destroying your insured cattle for humane reasons
- For removal and disposal of the carcasses of your insured cattle
