WFI Crop Campaign 2008

1. WHO MAY ENTER The only persons who may enter and be awarded prizes are Australian residents over 18 years of age, who are not employees or immediate family members of Wesfarmers Limited and its subsidiaries. "Immediate family" includes spouse, defacto, parent, natural or adopted child and sibling whether or not they live in the same household as the employee.

2. CONDITIONS OF ENTRY All persons who take out a new or renew an Early Bird Crop policy with WFI by 15 September 2008 will be automatically entered into one of four regional draws and will be eligible to win a prize. 

3. DURATION Promotion commences at 00:00 on 1 July 2008 and closes at 23:59 on 15 September 2008.

4. PRIZE The prize consists of a chance to win one of four "Relax Packs". There are three "Relax Packs" to choose from; a BBQ pack; a home theatre pack; or a holiday pack for two adults to New Zealand. The BBQ pack includes a Delonghi stainless steel 6 burner BBQ, Fisher & Paykel stainless steel bar fridge, and a 7 piece outdoor setting (recommended retail value $4,227.00). The home theatre pack includes an LG 50 inch plasma TV, LG home theatre system and an Akari entertainment stand (recommended retail value $4,397.00). The holiday pack includes two return economy airfares on Qantas Airlines to Christchurch from any Australian capital city, 7 nights Kiwi Gold Hotel pass, 7 days Hertz car rental, Skyline Gondola ride including lunch and $A500 spending money (recommended retail value $4,590.00). All prizes must be taken as offered and are not exchangeable, transferable or redeemable for cash. If any of the individual items for the BBQ and home theatre packs are unavailable, for whatever reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute them for items of equal or greater value, subject to State Regulation. Once prizes have left the Promoter's premises, the Promoter takes no responsibility for prizes damaged, delayed or lost in transit.The recommended retail value of the holiday pack is subject to change due to season rates and departure points. The prize is valid until 30 June 2009. Travel insurance and car rental insurance excesses are the responsibility of the winner. The New Zealand trip departs from an Australian capital city. Any costs that may be incurred by the winner to reach their nearest capital city for departure and return, such as travel, accommodation and other expenses are the responsibility of the winner. In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency or disaster the Promoter reserves the right to either provide an alternative travel prize (including to an alternative destination as specified by the Promoter) to the same value as the original prize or, subject to any applicable laws or written directions made under applicable laws, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion. 

5. SELECTION OF WINNERS All persons who take out a new or renew an Early Bird Crop insurance policy with WFI by 15 September 2008 will be entered into one of four regional draws based on the origin of the policy (where the policy was written). The regions are composed of the following states - WA, SA, Vic and NSW/ACT/QLD. The winners will be determined by chance as they will be selected at random manually from a barrel.  All draws will be conducted at 11:00 on 10 October 2008 at Wesfarmers Federation Insurance, 184 Railway Parade, Bassendean WA 6054. The Promoter's decision in relation to any aspect of the competition is final and binding on every person who enters.  No correspondence will be entered into.

6. NOTIFICATION OF WINNERS Winners will be contacted by WFI within two business working days of the draw and also advised in writing.  The winners' names will be published in the public notices section of "The Australian" newspaper on 17 October 2008.

7. UNCLAIMED PRIZES All prizes must be selected, booked and paid for by 30 June 2009.  In the event of an unclaimed prize the Promoter will take reasonable steps to deliver the prize. Should the prize remain unclaimed after 12 January 2009, the Promoter will notify the Department of Gaming and Racing NSW, Gambling and Racing Commission ACT and SA Revenue Services Lottery & Gaming Section and will conduct a redraw on 12 February 2009, in accordance with and subject to official approval from state bodies and any written directions given under Reg 37 of the Lottery and Gaming Regulations 1993 (SA).

8. OWNERSHIP OF ENTRIES Entries received after the closing date of 15 September 2008 will not be considered.  All entries become the property of WFI, 184 Railway Parade, BassendeanWA6054.  As all eligible persons are clients of WFI, for the purposes of conducting the promotion and also for WFI to carry out the functions of its business, the names, addresses and crop details of all entrants will be stored on WFI's database.

9. NO QUALITY REPRESENTATIONS The Promoter makes no representations or warranties as to the quality or suitability of any goods and services offered as prizes.

11. PRIVACY The details contained in your entry are protected by security safeguards as are reasonable in the circumstances to prevent loss, unauthorised access, use, modification, disclosure and misuse.
