WFI Staff Involved in 2008 National Tree Day

Australia's biggest community tree planting event, National Tree Day, was set up by PlanetArkto help tackle some of our country's serious environmental problems. Since the first event in 1996, over 11 million native trees, shrubs and grasses have been planet into Australian soils.

The aim of the National Tree Day is to inspire, educate and recruit Australians to actively care for our unique land, and to create future generations of committed environmental custodians. The event brings people together from all walks of life to achieve something valuable for their community. Being involved in National Tree Day is rewarding in so many ways.

WFI is proud to have our employees involved in this valuable event. The client service team from Orange, NSW, and a number of staff from the Toowong, QLD office will be dedicating their personal time to be involved to do what they can for the environment.

The main event day is held on Sunday 27 July, but 12 alternative tree planting days have been scheduled in case climate conditions make tree planting unsuitable at certain times.
