Claims information for WFI clients in Queensland
Clients of WFI can rest assured that all claims received following the severe weather events in Queensland will be treated individually, carefully assessed and processed as quickly as possible.
David McKinnis, WFI Eastern Operations Manager, provided the following information for clients:
- WFI clients do not need to worry about finding their insurance policy details, simply call 1300 934 934 and the WFI team will help you to lodge a claim;
- Water and mud-damaged possessions, such as carpets and soft furnishings, can be removed from your property for hygiene reasons. Please take photos and record details of the items before you dispose of them, this will help us to assess your claim;
- It will assist the claims process if you make an inventory of the possessions that have been damaged or lost;
"Our priority is to ensure our clients are supported, particularly for any immediate needs, and to make the claims process as easy as possible," said Mr McKinnis.
WFI, a member of the Wesfarmers group, is experienced in helping clients following events such as this and will be drawing upon its national resources to ensure that clients receive the best possible service.
